‘This was the first big job I got after drama school, so it was massive for me. It was a huge part of my life and I’m still close to Alastair mackenzie, who played [Lexie’s husband] Archie. It was 15 years ago but people still recognise me from it. I’m like, “Seriously?!”’

‘I thought that the whole paranormal world this drama focused on was so interesting. myself and Bill Paterson, who played Dr Douglas monaghan, loved making that show, so it was annoying when it was cancelled in 2007. But
