Women at war Rhona clashes with Moira, and does a deal behind her back…

-

hen Rhona and Moira went into business, it was all glasses of Prosecco and choruses of Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves. But a few months down the line, girl power has lost its gloss.

Rhona was narked when Moira took her bad mood out on her last week, and she’s more miffed this week when the farmer dismisses her input during a business meeting.

The meeting is with a restaurant owner called Ricky. The prime cuts of meat coming out of Butlers are perfect for his discerning clientele, and he wants to place a large order. However, Moira insists that it’s too much for them to handle and, batting away Rhona’s suggestions, she tells Ricky it’s a no. Rhona’s seething and, once Ricky has gone, she lays into her so-called pal.

Ricky turns his attentions to Wylie’s, and does a deal with Kim instead. But Nate has the same worries about the size of the order. And calling Rhona to the farm under false pretences, he presents her with a proposition – how about they secretly split the order?

Rhona’s up for that, and the pair shake on it. She then goes back to Moira and lies that she has negotiated a smaller deal with Ricky. Moira’s thrilled, and Rhona paints on a smile; knowing that her partner is liable to give her a Glasgow kiss if she discovers she’s got into bed with the man who wrecked her marriage.
