Moving on: Mercy and Sylver

It’s wedding No.8 for Mercedes Mcqueen – well, sort of. Wanting to look to the future and draw a line under her affair with dead gangster Liam Donovan, hubby Sylver has arranged a vow-renewal ceremony in The Dog. But as the couple look forward to their big day, little do they realise trouble has arrived in the shape of Sylver’s secret daughter, Cher.

Teen Cher uses smitten Romeo to get into the pub. She knows little about her father – other than that he is a convicted killer – and, as the ceremony gets underway, she sneaks upstairs. But when she’s caught by Warren, she mistakes him for Sylver. Will Warren introduce her to Daddy? And who is the newcomer’s mum?

Meanwhile, Nancy’s at the end of her tether with Kyle, and gives him an ultimatum – it’s her or the drugs. Kyle urges Darren to help him get their relationship back on track, but Mandy tells Dazzle that he must put his energies into beating his depression; not helping his friend. Will Kyle be forced to face his demons alone?

Also this week, Leela invites a homeless Jordan to live at the Lomax house, Nana’s unimpressed to discover John Paul’s new squeeze, George, is a copper, and Misbah leaves the village for her secondment in Surrey.
