Secrets and lies have surrounded Isaac and Sheree since he arrived in Walford last year. Isaac never knew Patrick was his biological father until Sheree reluctantly confessed, while the pair kept quiet for months about Isaac’s schizophrenia, with Isaac finally revealing all recently to Lola.

It’s not just Paul occupying Isaac’s thoughts. The teaching assistant is concerned that Patrick wants to take part in a stroke medication trial, and hits the roof when his dad signs the paperwork.
As Isaac continues to think about Paul, he asks Kim for information, and is unsettled as she reveals he was murdered. When Sheree then checks that he’s taking his meds, Isaac tells her he wants to be truthful.
Sheree insists they stay quiet, but later, as Patrick says that he feels he failed Paul and wishes the lad could’ve opened up about the trouble he was in, Isaac’s consumed by guilt and comes clean.
