She may have nagged for England, but you’ve got to feel sorry for Fiz. Dumped by Tyrone, she’d probably like to take herself off to bed and eat her own body weight in biscuits, but instead, she’s having to dust herself down and be a single mum to Hope and Ruby.

And to add insult to injury, this week she realises it’s not just Ty who’s fallen for gorgeous young Alina – the girls love her, too.

Fiz and Tyrone’s split is a long way off being amicable, and she hasn’t helped matters by changing the locks at No. 9. But after Chesney intervenes, Fiz allows Tyrone to call round and see the kids.

He gently explains to the youngsters that he’s with Alina now, but his love for them will never change, then takes them off to Speed Daal for tea. En-route, Hope sees Alina and asks her to join them, since she’s daddy’s new girlfriend. It’s all rather awks, but Alina agrees, and her sparky personality soon leaves both girls smitten.

Fiz is chatting to Maria, and admitting her darkest fear that her daughters will choose Alina over her when the quartet stumble out of the restaurant in high spirits. She’s heartbroken to see them playing happy families, and chokes back tears as she drags the girls away.

But it’s not just Fiz, Ty, Alina and the little ’uns navigating new waters. Later, Kevin and Abi are horrified when Tyrone makes it clear that he’s expecting to bring Alina to their wedding.

The couple know it’ll cause a stink – but how will best man Ty react if they tell him it’s a no?
