Building bridges
There’s a boost for the Baileys as Michael and Grace are given the go-ahead to bring baby Glory home, who’s been in special care since her premature arrival in March. Realising the new parents could do with some space, Ed decides to visit Aggie, who’s looking after her aunt in Birmingham.
Michael and Ronnie see the builder off, but tension remains between the brothers in the wake of Ronnie’s claim that Michael was his son, and Ronnie’s attempt to lighten the mood with a few jibes falls decidedly flat. Later, confiding in Jenny about how wretched he feels, he comes up with an idea that he hopes will smooth the choppy waters, and asks for her help. What does he have in mind – and will it be enough to win Ed’s forgiveness?
