Support me or LOSE me...

Nancy packs her bags as she continues to clash with Mick and Linda

-

Mick and Linda may be king and queen of The Vic, but when it comes to their true vocation, pulling pints comes a distant second to parenthood.

The couple can’t imagine life without their beloved brood – which makes daughter Nancy’s decision to get sterilised a shocking and somewhat bemusing prospect to get their nuts round.

This week, Linda, in particular, is struggling – secretly pregnant, she can’t understand why Nancy wants to rule out having the same experience for herself one day.

Sick of the ‘agg’, Nancy offloads on new boss Sharon, and soon has a welcome distraction in Zack. Heading off to the club together, the handsome newcomer asks the blonde how he can help. Nancy has something in mind, and cheekily responds that he can go to the pub and fetch her toothbrush – which has him dashing off and sneaking into the upstairs of The Vic before you can say ‘dead cert’.

Zack’s heroics don’t quite go to plan, and both Linda and Sharon are unimpressed. But Linda has bigger fish to fry when he mentions Nancy’s intention to move out. Soon, she and Mick find their little girl packing her bags.

The pair beg her not to go, and Nancy agrees to stay put – on condition they support her choice. Will Mick and Linda back down?

Following the furore, Nancy gets closer to Sharon, but she’s put on the spot when Shazbang asks her to babysit her young son, Albie. Nance reluctantly agrees, but has to call Mick when she starts to feel unwell and knows a fit is coming on – and her frantic father arrives just as she’s crashing to the floor.

Reminded of her struggle with epilepsy, will he start to see things from her perspective?
