Sam to the rescue?

Can he overcome his grief to save Lily’s life?

-

The nation’s hearts have been breaking for sweet little Sam since his mum was shot and killed by drug dealer Harvey.

As Nick tries to help his son cope with the grief, the lad faces more drama this week as he’s forced to try to stop another death in the family!

Sam has barely uttered a word since losing Natasha, and it’s devastating for Nick and Leanne to see the usually cheeky chatterbox so bereft. Recalling how much he used to love his telescope, Nick reckons reigniting his son’s interest in astronomy is just what he needs and suggests Max and Lily join him at the flat for some stargazing. Will this get him smiling again?

Perhaps not, as mouthy Max has already made insensitive comments earlier in the week about Natasha’s death that, unsurprisingly, don’t go down too well.

In spite of this, Nick agrees to leave nephew Max in charge of Sam and Lily at Victoria Court.

What Nick doesn’t know is that the short film Max has been making about the storm is guaranteed to cause offence to those who lost loved

ones in the disaster. Bet he’d think twice about using him as a babysitter if he did…

As Max uploads the video to social media, a stunned Summer watches it and is horrified by how it sensationalises the tragedy and even poses crackpot conspiracy theories linking Natasha and Johnny’s deaths.

Terrified about how Sam will react, can Summer get Max to take it down before the boy sees it and is plunged further into grief?

Back at the flat, the telescope play date isn’t going particularly well. Sam is still mute and miserable, and events take a turn when mischievous Lily plays a prank and locks him out on the balcony on purpose.

Dangling the key to the door from inside the flat, grinning Lily sucks on a lollipop and taunts stressed Sam through the glass, refusing to let him back in.

Suddenly (and somewhat randomly) disaster strikes as the lollipop comes off the stick and

Lily starts choking on the chunk of confectionery. But Sam is still locked outside and powerless to do anything while desperate Lil tries to catch her breath.

Frozen with fear, can Sam break his silence to speak for the first time in weeks and call for help? Or will Lily end up perishing because he couldn’t raise the alarm? Someone needs to save

Lily before it’s too late…
