Will Harvey lie for Aaron?

The city slicker needs an alibi after getting into a fight

-

Dana is desperate for her family to accept Bobby as her boyfriend so she invites him to lunch, which doesn’t go down well with disapproving Aaron. Can she convince her bigoted brother to give the guy a chance?

At first alpha Aaron demands Dana uninvite Bobs from the family meal, which gives the mentally fragile Beale boy a complex when he gets wind of the discussion.

After offloading to Iqra, Dana decides to stands up for her man and threatens to boycott the gathering herself if Bobby’s not welcome. Cue the most awkward start to a lunch ever, as agitated Aaron can barely cover his attitude towards his sister’s choice of suitor.

The atmosphere at the meal starts frosty and goes downhill, developing into teeth-clenching tension when Aaron starts asking offensive questions about Bobby’s religion.

But Bobby isn’t about to be bullied by the stroppy city slicker, and acquits himself admirably with his responses to Aaron’s attempt at humiliation and doesn’t let the lad get the better of him.

Lunch fizzles out but Harvey grows suspicious of Aaron’s edgy behaviour. When he makes a song and dance of putting the rubbish out, Harvey investigates what’s in the bins and is horrified to find one of Aaron’s shirts covered in blood…

Harvey quizzes his son, who admits he got into a fight but it was nothing serious, then drops the bombshell he lied to the police he was with him when it happened, and begs his dad to provide a false alibi!

The cops later ask Harvey about his son’s whereabouts on the night in question… Will Harvey lie and break the law? And what is Aaron not telling his dad about this punch-up?
