Sharon confides in Phil about baby Alyssa
Almost two years after Phil threw Sharon out of the Mitchell house for her affair with Keanu Taylor – calling her a ‘lying, twofaced slapper’ in the process – are sparks set to be reignited between the former couple?
They certainly seem a lot closer as Sharon confides in her ex about baby Alyssa, and this doesn’t go unnoticed by Phil’s current lover, Kat.
Sharon’s desperate to do right by Alyssa, whose struggling young mother, Jada, insists that it was the now late teen Denny – Sharon’s son – who got her up the duff. Opening up to Phil, Sharon reveals her plan to apply for joint custody.
Kat’s unimpressed to see the pair in cahoots, and she’s fuming when Phil later buys Sharon and Alyssa a present. Offloading to Stacey, she’s given a reality check by her canny relative, who points out that Sharon isn’t the threat to her relationship; she is.
As Kat’s left to stew on Stacey’s words, Phil continues to check in on Sharon and Alyssa, and is round at Shazbang’s when Jada turns up. He doesn’t trust the teen and, after speaking to Kat about it, he returns to Sharon’s flat.
When Jada opens the door, he grills her about why she dumped Alyssa on the doorstep. Dubious of her ability to be a decent muvva, he tells her to walk away... just as Sharon returns.
Granny Barbie is horrified at what she has overheard, but Phil sticks to his guns and insists Jada can’t be trusted. Although Sharon initially defends Jada, it’s not long before she starts to have her own suspicions about the girl.
Wanting the best for her granddaughter, will she scrap her plan to ‘share’ Alyssa’s care, and fight for full custody?
