She-hulk: Attorney at Law
FROM THURSDAY 18 AUGUST (EPISODES RELEASED WEEKLY), DISNEY+ COMEDY DRAMA
DRAMA DISNEY+
Jennifer Walters (Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany) is a thirtysomething lawyer with a fairly unremarkable life – unless you count the fact that her cousin is Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), otherwise known as The Hulk. When an accident causes Bruce’s blood to get mixed with Jennifer’s, she develops Hulk powers of her own, which she’s not remotely pleased about. Like the irreverent comics that inspired it, She-hulk is more comedic than most Marvel superhero sagas, but also promises to tackle big issues such as femininity, body image, and what it means to be a hero – and to be human. ★★★★ SP
