The major multisport event from Munich, which brings together the European Championships for nine sports – athletics, beach volleyball, canoe sprint, cycling, gymnastics, sport climbing, rowing, table tennis and triathlon – continues in earnest, with medal events up for grabs today in canoe sprint, track cycling, climbing and athletics. Sprinter Dina Asher-smith will be looking to defend her 200m title (9.22pm), despite being forced to pull out of the Commonwealth Games after injury.
