In the first run of this twisty Aussie thriller in 2020, we were gripped by the shocking tale of Brit Agatha (a fantastically nuanced turn from Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael) as she plotted to steal Ben, the newborn baby of blogger Meghan ( Jessica De Gouw). The second series kicks off in equally compelling style as Agatha undergoes an ordeal in jail, while Meghan remains scarred, despite having Ben, now a toddler, back in the family fold. As both women’s lives take some jaw-dropping new turns, a dogged young podcaster, who is desperate to tell Agatha’s story, throws a new cat among the pigeons….
