SPY THRILLER Despite having sworn that he would never again play the role of James Bond following the 1967 movie You Only Live Twice, Sean Connery was coaxed back into the role for this rematch with Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Charles Gray). The story, which involves diamond smugglers and a satellite laser weapon, is fairly straightforward, but the film has a blackly comical edge.
