COMEDY DRAMA Moody, peevish and socially inept, Hailee Steinfeld’s 17-year-old is an emotional mess, and the only person she can turn to for advice is her jaded history teacher (Woody Harrelson). This comedy brilliantly captures the turbulence of adolescence thanks to writer-director Kelly Fremon Craig’s smart script and to Steinfeld’s terrific performance.
