THRILLER Viggo Mortensen radiates quiet menace as a driver for one of London’s most notorious East European crime families, headed by Armin Mueller-stahl, father of a volatile enforcer (Vincent Cassel). Naomi Watts plays a midwife affected by the fate of a young teen who dies while giving birth and follows a trail that leads to Muellerstahl. With intense performances and David Cronenberg’s stylish direction, this is a fine, gritty thriller.
