They’ve been circling the skies and growling menacingly, but the dragons finally arrive at the party in a hail of fire and fury. Prince Daemon’s brutal confrontation with a gruesome pirate known as the Crabfeeder will grab all the headlines, but with three years having passed since we were last in Westeros, this week’s episode is also an interesting study of King Viserys (Paddy Considine) and his daughter Princess Rhaenyra. As heir to the Iron Throne, she’s not short of proposals, but the only man she seems interested in is hunky knight Ser Criston Cole. Who can blame her? ★★★★★ SMA
