The last time she was here, Pam tells us, was as a guest at Des O’connor’s wedding (we don’t remember that episode of Downton), but this time she’s getting an exclusive tour from Lady Carnarvon, who reveals the estate’s link to the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Pam also explores the Malvern Hills with Anne Diamond, who grew up nearby, and gets the – well, almost – equivalent of a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame when she has her photo taken and put on the wall of a Weston-super-mare chippy. ★★★★ JP
