…And away! Bob and Paul are back with a new series

Comedians and pals Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse return for a fifth series of their gentle, Bafta-nominated travelogue which mixes fishing in the glorious British countryside with warm, humorous chat and nostalgia for the past. Their first destination is the River Exe in Devon, where they search for grilse, a salmon that has been at sea for just one winter. Both Bob and Paul have had welldocumented heart issues in the past so some of the talk revolves around eating ‘heart-healthy’ food, although that doesn’t stop Bob from buying ice lollies on the way to Bossington Beach on the Bristol Channel, where they go beach fishing for the first time. ★★★★ JE
