Gabby Logan introduces coverage of Newcastle’s annual half-marathon, featuring some of the biggest names in distance running, plus 60,000 fun runners, as the course returns to its traditional route after two years of pandemicrelated changes. A stellar line-up in the men’s race features Ethiopia’s Olympic 10,000m champion Selemon Barega, current 5,000m and 10,000m worldrecord holder Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda, and his compatriot Jacob Kiplimo, the half-marathon world record holder.
