The opener, which highlights diverse snowy landscapes across the globe, features a terrifying confrontat­ion between a hungry grizzly bear and musk ox calves and stunning footage of a Siberian tiger stalking a black bear. We also meet determined polar bears, savvy killer whales, plucky emperor penguin chicks and the grumpy Pallas’s cat!
