SEASIDE ESCAPE

It was great escaping into Jane Austen’s world again with the second series of coastal-set period drama Sanditon on ITV. There were enough heroes, villains and intrigue to satisfy us die-hard Jane Austen fans, while Anne Reid’s sharp-tongued character, Lady Denham, kept everyone – including us viewers – on their toes! Margaret Hamilton, Elderslie ED: We love Sanditon, too, Margaret. Roll on series three!
