It’s a big day for Princess, who meets with Zara, Daniel and Bear to discuss her suspension. The manipulative medic apologises for her treatment of Scarlett and, when she’s told that the suspension stands, she tries to have one-to-one conversations with Daniel and Bear, who both refuse to budge. Just when it seems all hope is lost, Sid urges his colleagues to give her another chance, and asks to be her trainer again. Has Princess clung on to her career by the skin of her teeth?
Elsewhere, Al is distressed by Eve’s feverish ramblings as she remains in the grips of Legionnaires’ disease, only for Valerie to twig that his mother is, in fact, talking about a local nature trail. Hoping it could lead them to the source of the outbreak, the duo head over there and find an old water tank, which Al eventually persuades investigator Lydia to get tested. The test comes back positive, but it’s little comfort to Al as Eve’s condition worsens.
Also this week, Daniel and Zara turn down the opportunity to take over Sutton Vale on a permanent basis, and Bear realises Scarlett has a crush on him.
