With season two of The White Lotus coming soon, now’s a good time to check out the first series. Not necessarily as a catch-up (the second series is set in a completely different place – Sicily), but it will definitely make you feel better about not having spent the summer in a luxury Hawaiian resort. A great cast including Connie Britton, Steve Zahn and Jennifer Coolidge (one of the only actors to also feature in series two) play the pampered vacationers who prove that money can’t buy happiness, while Murray Bartlett is excellent as the resort manager whose coping strategies aren’t working… JP
