As with every year, as soon as the cast of Strictly is announced, people start wondering which celebrities might get within touching distance of that coveted glitterball trophy. While the likes of TV presenter Helen Skelton, pop star Fleur East and former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh were among the early front runners, after the first live show Will Mellor was the one everybody was talking about. Making his dance debut with an energetic jive to Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida Loca, the Hollyoaks and Coronation Street star, who is partnered with Nancy Xu, proved that he was the one to watch.
