TS Eliot: Into ‘The Waste Land’

Published in 1922, the groundbreaking modernist poem The Waste Land by TS Eliot not only transformed the nature of poetry but still inspires art today 100 years later. This documentary looks at perceptions of it by others – actor Fiona Shaw describes it as ‘a bit like going through Instagram’ – while also using newly discovered letters to show Eliot’s own personal story contained within it.
