It’s great to see the return of Freddie Slater in Eastenders, now grown up and played by Bobby Brazier, who’s making his acting debut in the BBC1 soap. I’m sure Bobby’s mum, [reality TV star] Jade Goody, who died in 2009 at the age of 27 from cervical cancer, would be so proud of him.
