PINKIE AND CUTHBERT JEREBOHM
MORGANA ROBINSON AND JULIAN RHIND-TUTT Nicknamed ‘Pinkie’ because of her love for pink clothes, posh city type Mrs Jerebohm has her heart set on dilapidated country house Bluff Court, and forces her reluctant husband, Cuthbert, to buy it at an inflated price from a delighted Pop, who acquired the building in the first series.
Determined to show off her newly renovated pad, Pinkie invites the Larkins round for a fancy dinner that’s gatecrashed by snobbish couple Alec and Norma Norman (Tony Gardner and Selina Griffiths).
‘On the surface, she’s very charming and effusive, but the more you get to know her, the darker it gets and she turns out to be an absolute rotter!’ laughs actor and comedian Morgana, 40, who portrayed Pippa Middleton in C4 sitcom The Windsors.
When they find out they’ve been fleeced by Pop, the couple and their two children, Gilbert and Blanche (Hector Bateman-harden and Lucy Allix), decide to get their own back.
‘My character does something terrible to Pop, and it messes with his whole family,’ teases
Morgana. ‘I’m the baddie, but it’s fun to play!’
