In the final two episodes in this engaging A Word spin-off, Ralph and Katie (Leon Harrop and Sarah Gordy) face more challenges in their first year of married life. Ralph’s mum Louise (Pooky Quesnel) is concerned to see him at the doctor’s but Ralph tells her it’s ‘men’s stuff’ and doesn’t want her to get involved. Then, in the second episode, Ralph and Katie are looking forward to Christmas together. They’ve been tested as newlyweds, but this is a tricky one – each set of parents is under the impression that the couple is spending Christmas with them. Let’s hope they can work it out, as we’d like to see a second series! ★★★★ JP
