The first season of this satirical comedy-drama followed a group of affluent and awful holidaymakers at a Hawaiian resort hotel. There’s a new cast and location – Sicily, Italy – for season two, but we’re delighted to confirm these holidaymakers are every bit as compellingly appalling. Highlights in this opener include: Homeland’s F Murray Abraham as a flatulent Lothario looking for longlost relatives; Parks and Recreation’s Aubrey Plaza as an uptight lawyer irritated by the narcissistic best friend (Sanditon’s
Theo James) of her husband (Giri/haji’s Will Sharpe); and the return of Jennifer Coolidge as emotionally incontinent Tanya, who’s carrying a lot of baggage – metaphorically and literally. ★★★★★ SP
