When the Queen died in September, after a reign lasting an incredible 70 years, her eldest son, Prince Charles, aged 73, became King Charles III. From the age of three, he had been heir apparent, when his mother became Queen Elizabeth II in 1952. Presented by Tom Bradby, ITV’S documentary looks at the man behind our new monarch, from his birth and childhood to his long tenure as the Prince of Wales. There are insights from his close friends, those who worked with him in his younger years and people who’ve helped him with the causes that are dear to him.
