THE GAME’S AFOOT!

-

As the feature-length sequel begins, Enola’s attempts to become a fully fledged detective are initially thwarted, as potential clients are not keen on hiring a teenage girl. Eventually, however, a desperate youngster begs Enola to find her sister – a match-factory worker who has mysteriously vanished. This soon leads the super-sleuth into the heart of a dark conspiracy involving extortion, blackmail and corruption, and a secret that powerful people are eager to keep hidden…

‘We set the film in the hustle and bustle of London – and we open with her on the run, which is Enola-esque, because she is one to love an adventure!’ says Marbella-born British actor

Millie. ‘She takes on a case that’s got a lot of twists and turns.’

Enola also witnesses the harsh conditions of the match factory first-hand. But can she keep her forthright opinions to herself?

‘This is a period movie but you are placing a modern girl in this period of time,’ says Millie. ‘She has progressive views, she’s a new thinker, smart and bright, which is valued in this day and age but which is terrifying in the 1800s!’
