Suki is arrested for Ranveer’s murder
We never thought we’d feel sorry for sourfaced Suki, but we can’t help sympathising with the troubled matriarch as she’s arrested for the murder of sleazy businessman Ranveer, still unaware that it was
Ravi who bumped him off.
The development is hardly surprising, given Ravi and Nina’s plotting. The secret lovers planned the murder to get their hands on Ranveer’s cash, and Nina will do anything to stop their scheme from hitting the skids. As she and Ravi earlier get a visit from the police over discrepancies with their statements, will she use it as an opportunity to land Suki in the mire?
It certainly looks so, as Suki is carted away in the middle of a Panesar family meal. Canny Kheerat immediately points the finger at his half-brother, who is nowhere to be found, and also starts to believe that Nish has played a hand in the sorry saga. Meanwhile, as Suki’s flat is searched, Nina dashes to the
GP surgery – is she after a vital piece of evidence to stop Suki’s innocence being exposed?
As shocking revelations later come to light, Kheerat sees red and resorts to drastic measures to save his mum from the slammer. It’s also time for Ravi to decide where his loyalties lie. He’s desperate to prove his worth to dad Nish and be accepted as part of the Panesar clan – and siding with Suki, rather than Nina, could be the way to do it.
