COMEDY MYSTERY This delightful comedy murder-mystery set in 1950s London Theatreland boasts a starry supporting ensemble and, at its heart, a likeable screen duo in Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan). Just as Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap racks up its 100th performance on stage, Leo Kopernick (Adrien Brody), the US movie director poised to adapt, is murdered. Everyone, naturally, becomes a suspect. This captivating, chuckle-chocked movie takes in the likes of David Oyelowo, Ruth Wilson and Reece Shearsmith but belongs to Rockwell and Ronan who, as well as being hilarious and lovable, mine genuine emotion, too.
