Actors Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming return to continue their road trip around Scotland and, once again, their adventures are full of warmth, joy and laughs. In this first episode, they feed the reindeer in the gorgeous Cairngorms National Park and go to the Dundee Rep Theatre, where they meet up with Miriam’s old friend, Scottish actor and Succession star Brian Cox. Then, it’s on to the village of Luss where, in 1986, Alan starred in Scottish soap Take the High Road. The pair’s final stop is on the banks of Loch Lomond, where Alan officiates as his cousin Martin and his husband William renew their marriage vows. ★★★★ JE
