His arrival in the dressing room after a 4-1 drubbing comes as a surprise to the downcast players, and their reaction towards him is priceless. A wise old head, Becks has plenty of good advice about life on and off the pitch for these youngsters dreaming of football stardom, and there’s a great moment when, at the end of a team talk, he asks if there are any questions. One hand shoots up and a voice says, ‘Yes. What car do you drive?’. IM
