GUESS WHO?

I’m glad to see the return of game show

I Can See Your Voice on BBC1 – it’s the most unusual TV singing competition I’ve seen in a long time! Paddy Mcguinness is a great host, with panellists Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden on good form. I love the final round when the last mystery singer standing performs a duet with a celebrity vocalist.

KAREN’S GREAT!

I was shocked to read the negative letter about ITV crime drama Karen Pirie in a recent issue of TV Times [15–21 October]. I thought actor Lauren Lyle was brilliant and so believable. Surely Karen’s ordinariness was the bee in her superiors’ bonnet? With a well-written script, I loved this series!

FEEL-GOOD TV

The third series of documentary Matt Baker: Our Farm in the Dales on More4 is as heartwarming and uplifting as ever, with the whole family completing various projects on

Matt’s parents’ farm. Dionne A Graham, Darlington

TO A T!

ITV’S Professor T was a quirky mix of Inspector Morse, Sherlock and

Taggart. Ben Miller was great as the lead character, who is a criminologist with OCD. Angela Garvin, Romford

PITCHED PERFECTLY

BBC1 documentary Our Dementia Choir Sings

Again with actor Vicky Mcclure was uplifting and emotional. It was lovely to revisit some of the choir’s original members, like Mick and Julie. The joy they get is inspirational.
