This week, Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming visit the
Isle of Skye, which has a special place in Miriam’s heart as it was where she and her partner, Heather, first went on holiday together more than 50 years ago. Alan has arranged a boat trip – ‘I bet you sometimes wish I was Joanna Lumley,’ says Miriam as he struggles to push her wheelchair onto the jetty while also carrying his dog Lala – which turns out to be magical as they’re soon surrounded by dolphins.
