Until she spots cool, confident lifeguard Isla (Ella-rae Smith)… Writer-director Marley Morrison taps into teen frustration with incredible humour and perception and there are touches of Lady Bird when AJ and her mum argue. Imbued with wit and wisdom, this is an absolute delight. ★★★★ NP
