Charley and Mariette have some good news for Pop

With the usually carefree Pop (Bradley Walsh) at a seriously low ebb, the Larkin patriarch could really do with a stroke of good fortune. However, in this penultimate episode, the Reverend Candy’s mass christening in the Larkins’ pool ends in disaster, and poor Miss Pilchester (Amelia Bullmore) ends up the worse for drink! Thank goodness, then, that Mariette ( Joelle Rae) decides that she can cheer up her father by sharing some good news – that she and Charley (Tok Stephen) are expecting, and Pop is going to be a grandpa!

But is that the kind of secret that he’ll have trouble keeping to himself? IM
