The ‘creepy and kooky’ Addams Family are back for an eight-part spin-off series following the misadventures of terror-loving teenager Wednesday (You star Jenna Ortega). Directed by Tim Burton, the story follows Wednesday at Nevermore Academy, a school for supernaturally gifted outcasts in New England. But when Wednesday discovers local townsfolk are being terrorised, she turns detective to unravel a 25-year-old murder mystery that still haunts her parents, Morticia (a perfectly cast Catherine Zeta-jones) and Gomez
(Luis Guzmán). Look out for Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie and Christina Ricci, who starred in the 1990s movies, among Nevermore’s spook-tacular teachers. RM
