After the heart-warming season-10 finale earlier this year, Martin Clunes reprises his role as grumpy medic Martin Ellingham for the last time in this seasonal special.

The plot sees the Doc cause trouble for everyone when he closes the grotto, fearing Santa (Ron Cook) is harbouring something contagious.

Louisa (Caroline Catz), tries to compensate by organising a Christmas lantern parade, but parish councillor Agatha Higgins (Emma Amos) turns all ‘bah humbug!’ and cites health-andsafety issues! Will it be a merry Christmas in Portwenn? We ho-ho-hope so.
