FIGHTING HATE
When Maria discovers that nearly all the signatures on an online petition opposing the refugee centre were from fake accounts, she’s determined to make a stand against the hateful minority. Addressing her fellow councillors, she announces her plan to rename the Christmas market a winter market, and support the refugee community.
Alya, meanwhile, is determined to do her own bit to stamp out racism, and threatens to report Griff to his employer. But the newcomer issues her with a warning, and later pretends he’s been attacked by four Muslim lads, getting Max to upload a video of his injuries – along with racist commentary. Max is happy to help, and Griff has the teen in the palm of his hand. How long until he gives him an even bigger ‘job’ to do?
