Whitney’s PREGNANT!

Will she get the support she needs from Zack?

-

Whitney has spent most of her life longing to have a faaarmily, and if it wasn’t for her lovers becoming murder victims, psychopaths or gay, she’d have probably achieved her dream years ago.

This week, she finally gets a bun in her oven, but will she get the rosebud cottage and white picket fence to go with it? As her baby’s father is Walford tart Zack Hudson, we very much doubt it.

Whit slept with Zack a few weeks ago, not long after he’d nobbled Sam again. As housemates Felix and Finlay plan a party for her 30th birthday, cocktails and dancing are the last things on Whitney’s mind, and she heads out to buy a pregnancy test.

At the chemist, she bumps into Stacey, who suspects Kheerat Panesar left her with a parting gift, and is there for the same thing.

Our Walford mole reveals, ‘There’s only one pregnancy testing kit left in the shop, but it contains two tests. So Whitney and Stacey buy it, and go back to the Slater house to do their tests together.’ Not literally together, we hope.

‘They’re about to tell each other their results when they’re suddenly interrupted,’ adds the mole.

Returning home, Whit’s faced with the bubbly boys, who reveal they’ve wangled a brilliant deal at Peggy’s. She feigns excitement, then when alone with Chelsea, reveals she’s pregnant with Zack’s nipper.

Zack’s blissfully unaware as he starts a new job at Walford East, and when Whitney tries to talk to him, he’s distracted by a call from conquest No.2,037. But he soon learns he’s going to be a daddy, and it’s from Jean of all people.

Our mole explains, ‘Jean finds Whitney’s test in the bin and assumes Stacey’s pregnant. Stacey says she isn’t, but Whitney is, and swears her mum to secrecy.

‘But then Jean gets her wires crossed and thinks Zack already knows, and she ends up blurting out Whitney’s news.’

The buff chef is not so much shocked as traumatised. His own childhood was horrendous – he had Gavin Sullivan for a dad – and the thought of being responsible for another human being fills him with terror.

Will poor Whit be forced to go it alone?

As the rest of the Mcqueens celebrate Bobby’s return, Goldie sets herself a mission to extract a confession from the sinister schoolboy, who left her brother Sylver to die in the Salon de Thé fire. But Bobby uncovers her plan and, looking particularly chilling in an angel costume he has donned for the nativity, he issues her with a threat she can’t ignore.

No one believes the frightened mum as she warns her family about Bobby’s behaviour, and Bobby, smug to have his loved ones on his side, then doubles down and threatens Goldie again. He has seen off both Sylver and Silas this year. As Mercedes refuses to accept how dangerous her son is, could Bobby end up killing again?

Meanwhile, Verity’s furious to discover Eric is back on the ‘Men First’ forum. Secretly swiping his phone, she posts a message explaining that she’s his sister and he won’t be using the site again. She’s horrified when she then clicks on a link relating to Maxine.

Mason reports back to Eric that Verity has hacked his account. Horrified to realise what Verity must have seen, Eric reassures the forum members that he will find a way to silence her. But what exactly does he have in mind?
