The six-part series examines the turmoil they endured during their passionate romance, including battles with drink and drugs, and begins as they fall in love on stage, even though Tammy is already married… But it also charts the highs and lows of their extraordinary careers, including the genesis of their greatest hits including Tammy’s Stand by Your Man.
