This week, Beth (Arabella Weir) and Eric (Alex Norton) enjoy a pre-holiday cuppa with Ian and Gordon’s friends Morven (Hannah Jarrett-scott) and Lin (Jemma Moore), who are about to jet off from Glasgow for a six-week holiday in Australia. But Morven and Lin’s excitement is soon dampened by the arrival of perpetual wet blanket Christine (Elaine C Smith) and Colin (Jonathan Watson), who insists on weighing their cases while getting stuck into cans of Foster’s lager. As tensions mount between organised Morven and the more chaotic Lin, it’s beginning to look like their holiday of a lifetime might not be as harmonious as they had hoped. ★★★★ NH
