The Bowie clone comes into his own on this fine second LP from Tubeway Army, the post-punk group Numan formed with his uncle Jess Lidyard on drums and bassist Paul Gardiner. Swapping guitars for searing Moog riffs, Numan conjures a peculiarly English suburban sci-fi with the hits “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?” and “Me! I Disconnect From You”. 8/10
