Heavy rock guitarist (1974–2018)

Oli Herbert was a founding member of All That Remains, the group formed by ex-Shadows Fall vocalist Philip labonte in 1998. The Massachusetts heavy rockers scored a number of hit albums in the US, reaching a commercial peak with 2008’s Overcome and 2012’s A War You Cannot Win, marked by Herbert’s layered guitar work, which balanced hostility with restraint. Herbert, who has died unexpectedly after an accident at home, features on the band’s latest album, Victim Of The New Disease.
