Released 11 years after his last solo collection, and two since Mclennan’s passing, Forster’s fifth solo album was unusually tender, not least “Demon Days”, a quiet waltz co-written with his late colleague. Mclennan also contributed the sighing chorus to complement “Let Your Light In Babe”’s amiable mandolins, while “Did She Overtake You” sounded like Tallulah era Go-betweens, with a hint of early Smiths. 8/10
