2. A SMALL SHIP CRUISE ACROSS THE GALAPAGOS
The Galapagos is a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of western Ecuador. The islands, of which there are approximately 20, are notorious for its wildlife and unique ecosystem, both on land and in the ocean. These include native giant tortoises, bluefooted boobies, exotic iguanas, elegant flamingos and a whole host of fish and whale species among others. A cruise around the incredible Galapagos Islands offers a wealth of experiences – from on-shore excursions like guided hikes and walks, to water activities like diving and snorkelling. Although you can visit the Galapagos year round, the best time of year to travel to the islands is between the months of
November to May. This period offers warm weather, reliable sunshine and good wildlife sightings. Outside of these months, the winds can be stronger and you may experience rain showers. Depending on what you’re interested in, we can recommend the right cruise and itinerary for you. The majority of the cruises are between 5-8 days, which gives you a good amount of time to explore some of the most popular islands including San Cristobal, Santa
Cruz, Santa Fe Island and Isabela Island among others.
